StayingWELL recently hosted a Caregiver Appreciation Lunch at the Amerigo Vespucci Lodge—an afternoon dedicated to the incredible caregivers who serve our patients and clients with compassion, skill, and strength every day.
Caregivers were invited to bring their families—and those working that day were encouraged to bring their clients—making it a true community gathering. The event offered great food, time to connect, activities for kids, and a chance to relax outside of work.
But this afternoon was more than just a meal.
It was about recognition.
Caregivers are vital. They are the ones walking through front doors every day—lifting, listening, laughing, helping. They make independence possible. They bring dignity to daily care. And they often do it quietly, behind the scenes.
So we press pause once a year to say something simple but powerful:
Thank you. We see what you do. And we couldn’t do this without you.
